All Moodle classes were entered as horizontal move hours. If you need to move any of your Moodle classes over to Career Ladder HLTR-A hours, you need to email me by this Thursday, February 25 by 4:00pm. The district will be running the seniority list based partially upon horizontal move hours, so I cannot back any hours out of horizontal move after that date. Please check your Career Ladder A hours by signing on to My Learning Plan and clicking on My Portfolio, then View by Purpose.

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards notified candidates on Nov. 20th that they had successfully certified in 2009. Our Scottsdale Career Ladder teachers are: Jennifer Jensen at Desert Mountain High School, Laura Kamka at Desert Mountain High School, Carrie Miller at Redfield Elementary, Barbara Ratliff at Copper Ridge, and Kimberly Vallejo at Copper Ridge. Congratulations!

Our new district software program for tracking hours has necessitated some changes in managing our HLTR-A hours.
* You can no longer split the hours from a workshop between Career Ladder A and staff development. You must choose one or the other.
* You can no longer change hours back and forth between Career Ladder A and staff development. Think carefully before deciding where you want your hours to go.
