The CLI observation schedule can be found in the Career Ladder News and Dates folder.

HLTR - Activities which are considered part of the participant's regular teaching assignment (e.g. IEP, M-Team, faculty meetings) or for which the participant receives release time or any form of pay, college credit, or staff development points cannot be used to meet the Higher Level Teaching Responsibilities requirement. A menu of HLTR hours may be found on page 2 of the HLTR Section in the Career Ladder Notebook. Principals or assistant principals must verify B/C Logs.                                                                                                                                                        

PLC Hours -The required 30 PLC hours cannot be used for HLTR-B/C credit. If, however, a PLC meets beyond the 30 required hours, then the additional PLC hours may be used for HLTR-B/C credit as long as the hours are outside the contracted school day. Principals or assistant principals must verify B/C Logs.                         

CAREER LADDER CONTRACTS

Contracts will be issued to Career Ladder teachers who successfully completed program requirements in 2010-11 and received scores for their current placement Level and Step.
The acceptance of this addendum by the teacher indicates commitment to follow the guidelines and fulfill the requirements and responsibilities of the Career Ladder Program for the 2011-12 school year.
